Project Overview

As part of a Creative Thesis Project I was tasked to redesign part of The New Sudbury Centre website. My redesign aimed to modernize the existing digital interface to better serve its varied demographic, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. This initiative involved extensive demographic research, iterative sketching, and design evolution, culminating in a fresh and accessible online presence for the mall.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was updating a dated website that was not meeting the current needs of the mall’s diverse visitors. The existing design lacked the visual appeal and functionality expected by today’s consumers, resulting in decreased engagement and potential revenue losses. It was crucial to create a design that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and easy to navigate for all age groups.

The Solution

The New Sudbury Mall website redesign utilized a modern, clean aesthetic to enhance usability, supported by comprehensive demographic research. The design process, facilitated through sketches and wireframes, culminated in a streamlined Figma prototype, ensuring easy access to crucial information such as promotions and events. This approach significantly improved user engagement and aligned with the mall’s business objectives.
